Grace Stanke

It’s not often that you find an athlete, engineer, musician, and former Miss America all in one. Grace Stanke breaks misconceptions surrounding nuclear energy through social media, public engagements, and educational workshops. During her year as Miss America 2023, Grace was named the “New Face of Nuclear Energy” by the Wall Street Journal and was on the Forbes 30 under 30 list for Energy

Dr. Katie Colwell

"Dr. Colwell has done an incredible job as the Director of Learning and Student Achievement," said incoming Interim Superintendent Cale Bushman.  "Dr. Colwell is a very intelligent, skilled systems thinker and we are excited to have her expertise involved in the leadership of our secondary schools.  She is an extremely valuable asset to our district."

Jon Euting

"Our school community is fortunate to have Mr. Euting working in the district," said Cale Bushman, incoming Interim Superintendent. "Jon is an experienced administrator and has a wealth of experience to draw upon in his new position.  It is clear that Mr. Euting is invested into, and has great passion for, the growth and improvement of our students.  With Mr. Euting as the Assistant Superintendent of Academics, our students, families, and staff are in great hands."

As a reminder, from earlier this year, this is part of a Wausau School District/Wausau School Board process to create a long-range elementary school facilities plan.  That plan will focus, in particular, on whether the number of elementary schools in the Wausau School District should be reduced and if so, then how, where, and when.
